Roman Chernin is Founder and Chief Operating Officer of Global Trade Link, Inc. He oversees all financial and operational aspects of the business since its inception. Roman earned a Master of Science in Logistics Management from Maine Maritime Academy in 1999 and a Master of Business Administration, Management and Strategy, from Western Governors University in 2011. Previously he graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Engineering from Odessa State Maritime University in 1996.

Mr. Chernin has over twenty five years of transportation, supply chain, compliance and project management experience, including sixteen years in various management and executive roles with Orient Overseas Container Line, one of world's largest integrated international container transportation and terminal companies, and OOCL Logistics, a premier provider of logistics and supply chain management solutions. Prior to joining OOCL he worked as a Field Services Supervisor for Airborne Express, U.S. third larges express delivery company at a time, before its acquisition by DHL, a division of Deutsche Post, in 2003.  His management portfolio is enriched by experience in military logistics; tours with Navy Expeditionary Logistics Support Group and Defense Logistics Agency; Joint Command Operations Officer deployment to Qatar, Kuwait and Afghanistan.

Roman also holds active Customs Broker license, District of New York, from U.S. Department of Homeland Security.
